Sustainable water management using rainfall-runoff modeling: A geospatial approach

چکیده

The rainfall-runoff modeling was carried out using Lacey's and rational formulas to identify the possible locations for surplus precipitation groundwater regime with Rain Water Harvesting (RWH) systems, evaluate total recharge potential, impact on regime. Our results found that potential created by these artificial systems injection well is tune of 72.07 × 104 m3/annum. These measures will help improve levels as control declining water levels, helps in maintain/improve existing quality groundwater, quantity also increase. While recharging through RWH regime, overall be a positive effect. Groundwater reserves per level fluctuation method; effects change area's replenishable reserves. This phenomenon continuous runoff those blocks are critical/semi-critical/overexploited maybe renovate them into safe category. It may add an excellent source excess consumption irrigation/domestic/industries/mining users. Moreover, considering cost installation maintenance expenses, effective economical. research provides scientific approach arrest extreme possibility during different rainfall events, conservation studied area ensure availability surface subsurface sustainable long-term uses even drought period/deficit events mitigate flood risk hazards.
